Emma Duncan
Emma Duncan is a painter based in East Lothian, Scotland. She studied at Gray’s School of Art and has exhibited her work across the UK. Specialising in aerial landscapes of Scotland, her oil-on-canvas paintings explore themes of land usage, borders, boundaries, and the historical traces that shape and transform the landscape over time.
Emma’s work reflects a deep connection to place and the natural environment. Among her notable series is a collection focused on the Scottish Open Championship Links golf courses, including Muirfield, Carnoustie, Royal Troon, Turnberry, and St Andrews. These paintings celebrate the beauty of these iconic courses, their cultural significance, and their integration into the Scottish landscape.
