Ben Moreau and Leo C

Studio LIM. is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Zürich by French artists Ben Moreau and Leo C. It is inspired by the philosophy of the Bauhaus school and finds inspiration in minimalism and Gesamtkunstwerk – or “total work of art” – which are the main drivers of the studio’s projects.
Through the use of different techniques and media, such as photography, industrial design, painting and mechanical engineering, the Idea does not remain merely a thought but is materialised into a unique work of art, a “final piece” – or “original”.
With an approach based on purpose and process, the boundary between art, science and craft becomes blurred and leaves room for multiple interpretation by the viewer. This creative scheme is representative of the people behind the studio, for whom expression, realisation and transmission are constants.
